Wednesday Oct 12, 2016
Wednesday Oct 12, 2016
In this episode, the guys talk synthesizers, touring local studios, and an instrument neither can play nor afford. Joey goes on a rant about lazy animation, and James doesn't get to geek out the way he wants. Have no sympathy!

Episode 35 - Bosching About
Wednesday Oct 05, 2016
Wednesday Oct 05, 2016
In this hooky inspired episode, Singer/Songwriter Shaun Bosch joins out heroes for an hour of engineering talk, struggling musician talk, and mental health discussions for creative types. James stumbles through questions, Joey talks gear and the three discuss the advantages of recording yourself vs working with a team. Also, prepare for tacos, the puppy, and the greatest cut off in show history.

Episode 34 - Musical Intelligence?
Wednesday Sep 28, 2016
Wednesday Sep 28, 2016
In this "not so early morning" episode, our heroes are fortunate to be joined by the incredibly busy and hardworking student/singer/songwriter/podcast host/consultant/student, Maria Phillipos as they wade through the dark waters of artificial intelligence, music school, recording follies, the importance of networking, and James' bad relationship advice to Joey the homewrecker!

Episode 33 - "I Choose the Accordion"
Tuesday Sep 20, 2016
Tuesday Sep 20, 2016
In this button filled episode, local music and record label manager, Sacha Hubert, joins our heroes to talk about what band management and record labels are, why they are different, and what they do for artists. Joey and James squeeze every last note out of our guest to try to make sense of this confusing subject, but we're not sure it's any clearer than before. Stay tuned for James' inevitable confusion.

Episode 32 - Mister Tape
Tuesday Sep 13, 2016
Tuesday Sep 13, 2016
In this magnetic episode, the legendary "Mr Tape" Mike Brazeau joins our heroes to talk about his collection of old analogue decks, his reel to reel collection, and the awkward phone call he'll receive from his mother over the inappropriate comments from James. Joey sits quietly in his illness, coffee-less but with a snoring puppy warmer on his lap.

Episode 31 - Mad at the Cue
Wednesday Sep 07, 2016
Wednesday Sep 07, 2016
In this maddening episode, Joey talks Tim Horton's lineup issues, James brings up anger management in driving and studio work, and the two meander through the idea that some musicians don't actually pay attention to the musicians they're playing with. Joey then confuses James with a discussion about how convolution reverbs are created and implemented. They also have a quick conversation about the band Between The Buried and Me.

Episode 30 - Roll Across the Land
Wednesday Aug 31, 2016
Wednesday Aug 31, 2016
This train wreck of an episode is brought to you by a scattered, ranting, James, while Joey and our guest, Roland Rodas, stare in wonderment at the uncoffee'd version of our struggling host. Joey tells the story of a tragic P.A. rental and Roland tells the many stories of his recent cross border tour of 19 shows in 22ish days.

Tuesday Aug 23, 2016
Tuesday Aug 23, 2016
In this slowly accelerating episode, Colin Wilson (of Edmonton band, Something Mechanical) joins our sleepy heroes as they wade through tangent filled waters covering lazy musicians, Studio Bidding wars, the advantages of preparing for the studio, and more puppy love. James gets really angry over s#!t Dave Grohl says, and Colin tells the whole world off. Prepare to be offended or amused…

Episode 28 - Puppy Love
Tuesday Aug 16, 2016
Tuesday Aug 16, 2016
The first of many, our relatable heroes are joined by Pepper Corny, the 10 week old Boston Terrier puppy that is now a regular fixture at the studio. Thankfully she wasn't in a speaking mood. Without a guest, Joey and James converse through a minefield of production screwups, mixing and music online communities, live music and the praising of Greg Wright (local live tech), and purging gear and software. No "real" coffee was consumed in the making of this episode.

Episode 27 - Chill The "eFF" Out!
Tuesday Aug 02, 2016
Tuesday Aug 02, 2016
In this, the first ever anniversary, our heroes acknowledge and abandon the celebration of this rapper inspired podcast. More importantly, The Sing/Songwriter/Actor/Producer/Screenwriter/etc… Alan Holmes joins us for a wonderful "tip of the iceberg" exploration of the LGBTQ community and the arts community. Alan is wonderfully entertaining and bring well thought insight about life as an artist.
